A one-person studio
in Winter Garden, Florida.
Winter Garden Web is run by Vincent Ang. The Glass House is its standing body of work — complete sites across 13 countries, each one invented, art-directed, written and built end to end.
Why a glass house
A winter garden is a glass house: a built climate where something delicate can grow, protected, away from the weather. The phrase came from the town this studio works from, a few miles west of Orlando — but the idea is the method, not the address.
Every project here is a glass house built around one craft. A controlled light, a palette, a vocabulary, a photographic language — an interior warm and specific enough that a thing which would look ordinary in the open air can finally be seen properly. The frame itself is glass and steel with no colour of its own; everything it holds keeps its own.
What the studio takes on
Makers and ateliers. Boutique hotels and places to stay. Specialist brands whose product is genuinely good and whose website is currently letting it down. The work suits businesses where the buyer is discriminating, the product photographs well, and the sale depends on trust rather than volume.
A small number of projects a year, run directly with the person whose name is on the door — no account layer, no handoff to a junior, no offshore build team.
How it works
The subject decides everything
Palette, type, photography and tone are argued from what the thing actually is — the hour it lives in, the material it is made of, the hands that make it. Not from a moodboard of other websites.
One interaction has to be unrepeatable
Every site here earns a single move that could belong to nothing else it sells: a surfboard that redraws to your height and wave, a riad courtyard that tracks the sun, a frame whose geometry is argued from one road.
Nothing is a template
No page-builder, no theme, no shared design system across projects. A shared system would pull every site toward the same look, which is the exact failure the work exists to avoid.
It has to be fast and it has to be reachable
Hand-written HTML and CSS, real semantics, keyboard paths, honest contrast, and behaviour that survives a bad connection. Beauty that only works on a fast laptop is a demo, not a website.
Where
Based in Winter Garden, Florida, and glad to work with anyone in the Orlando area in person — Windermere, Ocoee, Clermont, Dr. Phillips, Downtown Orlando. The rest of the collection was made for places a long way further out, and remote work is the norm rather than the exception.
