What it is
Fàire is lighthouse keeper's house — a light that counts, set in Rubha na Fàire, Wester Ross, Scotland. It was built as a complete world rather than a page: a name, a history, a material system, a vocabulary, a photographic language, and a reason to exist — then the site that world would have made for itself.
The light it lives in
It belongs to the Vigil register: maritime night, weather as material, one distant timed light. That decision is made from the subject, never from the category — things that exist in order to be seen. It settles the palette, the type, and how every photograph is lit before a single section gets drawn.
The signature
